FootballI have, and it ain't too easy. I end up sticking the small items in my jacket pockets, and the bigger things go in the backpack. The trouble is, I can't count the number of times things have fallen out of my pockets, and if I'm at a friend's house or out shopping, and haven't brought my backpack, I can't bring bigger stuff home. Or I stick it in my jacket and get it all sweaty.
The Fast Pack is a great solution. You just take off your backseat, wrap the bottom skirt of the Fast Pack around your seat and cinch down the Velc... oop, I mean "hook-and-loop" straps, and put your seat back on. The skirt tidies up the appearance while the hook-and-loop straps hold the Pack firmly in place. There's no drilling or gluing. If you take the Fast Pack off, your bike is just like it was. Putting it on (or taking it off) takes about two minutes.
You don't really need to take it off anyway, because the Fast Pack collapses down to a carbon fiber looking seat, so if you don't need to carry anything in it, it disappears, or someone can sit on it. Here it is collapsed.
Unlike a tank bag, FastPack doesn’t interfere with refueling, doesn’t get in the way of controlling your bike, won’t scratch your bike’s paint, doesn’t look dorky, and your favorite passenger can sit on it!
Perfect for day trips or even an overnighter, FastPack features heavy-duty Cordura nylon, marine-grade vinyl, and a YKK waterproof zipper to help protect your items from the weather.
The Fast Pack currently comes in three versions to be compatible with most sportbikes that have a separate back seat. All hold about 8 liters of cargo.
Manufacturing has begun for a new model that fits bikes with one seat (Bandit, FZ-1, ZX-14’s, ZRX’s, VFR’s, Ninja 650’s, Triumph Speed Triple, etc), and should be available by June.
